Who would have thought that this gorgeous blogger has a hairy secret?
Morgan Mikenas, fitness blogger, takes women empowerment to a whole new level. While most women admitted that shaving body hair is one of their most dreaded body chores, Morgan bravely stood up to the challenge and never shaved her body hair for one year.
She probably saved up a fortune by not buying razors.
She admitted that because of bullying, she decided to embrace her natural beauty even more
In order to promote natural beauty using her own little ways, she has gone an entire year without shaving, and the results will truly amaze you.
Embracing one’s natural beauty is still an ongoing battle. For Morgan, what important is to be just you–untouched, unmodified.
Hairy, but still pretty! Agree?
“I’m not trying to make all of humanity stop shaving their armpits and leg hair anymore, I just want to inspire others [to do] what works for you, what makes you feel the most comfortable,” she said on her YouTube channel.
She even got her pits involved in this movement
When asked what inspired her to do it, she confessed that one the reasons why she decided to let all her body hair grow is bullying. She was bullied in a gym class when she was 11 or 12 for having hairy legs.
“I think it’s unfair that people think they have to be in this culture norm,” she said.Along the process, she lost weight, too
“I want everybody to not feel ashamed of themselves. I think it’s unfair that people think they have to be in this culture norm. Just do whatever makes you feel good,” she added.
“Just do whatever makes you feel good,” Morgan spreading some wisdom despite all the negativity we have to endure every day.
Spreading the movement
With almost a million views on Youtube, she also gives updates through her Instagram account.
She strongly believes that we should embrace our body more because it will teach us how to embody our natural beauty. Kudos Morgan for this inspiring move!
