According to the video, a person’s skin turns red because of the ‘alcohol flush reaction’ which happens to those who are unable to break down acetaldehyde – also known as the first metabolite of alcohol.
When such reaction happens to a person, it means that they have high alcohol sensitivity and intolerance to liquors. It basically means that you are poisoning your body whenever you are having too much alcohol intake.
It occurs mostly to the East Asians and has no cure.
This shocking revelation makes it frightening to drink a lot, especially after knowing that it may lead to hypertension afterwards. So, will you still keep drinking to your heart’s content?
