Moving Up
Just like every high schoolers do, Gimme 5 also moves up and finally releases new EP Album entitled “Sophomore“. After jampacked tours and sold-out concerts, the energetic boyband featuring Nash Aguas, Joaquin Reyes, Grae Fernandez, Brace Arquiza and John Bermundo, returns with a bang!
Launching their second album, we can now say that Gimme 5 is back to the music scene!
Own compositions
These talented youngsters do not only excel in singing and dancing, but recently in song-writing as well. The new album features 5 original songs including own compositions of Nash and Joaquin with “First Love” and “Hindi Ko Alam” respectively.
Meanhile, the album’s carrier single, “Walang Dahilan” is composed by Jay Sule that talks about the first stages of having a crush in a boy’s point of view. Other exciting tracks also include “Napapangiti” (composed by Rox Santos) and “Hanggang Tingin Na Lang” (composed by Blue Sy).
Having RB Kidwolf as the over-all album producer, “Sophomore” follows the success of Gimme5’s first self-titled album which gained waves in the local music industry with hit songs “Pag Kasama Ka”, “Hatid Sundo”, and “Aking Prinsesa”.
In their recent album launch, the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) finally gave them their first gold award.
