For all we know, Hoegaarden Brewery, holds a unique heritage from being the original wheat beer to a world renowned authentic Belgian liquor. Taking its roots from Belgium, this wheat beer became an international brand that is being distributed in more than 70 countries.
Being an ideal summer beer, it is flavored with orange peel and coriander and is characterized by its naturalness and authenticity.
Celebrating the occassion
Through its exclusive distributor in the Philippines, Booze Online, Inc., Hoegaarden has extended the celebration after winning the World Beer Cup to the Philippine shores. For showing gratitude, it hosted a festive roof deck party at the Manila House Private Club in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Toast-worthy
After winning gold in the Belgian-Style Witbier Category of the 2016 World Beer Cup, let’s toast for the Hoegaarden Original White Ale.
World Beer Cup, being one of the most stringent global beer competitions to date, evaluates beers around the world and recognizes the most outstanding breweries and their beers biannually.
A taste
With its citrusy taste, Hoegaarden Witbier credits its award to the Hoegaarden Brewery’s complex and exacting brewing process and century’s worth of expertise.
To explain the whole process, Anne Ghanima, Brewmaster and Hoegaarden Brewery Manager, had this to say,
“Hoegaarden is different by nature. It goes through a complex brewing process that uses special barley malt, raw wheat and our very unique Hoegaarden yeast that result in a distinctive cloudy-white appearance. The key to the authentic Belgian wheat beer’s unique, refreshing flavor and spicy nose is ingredients including real Curacao orange peel and a delicate balance of coriander. Many years ago, Hoegaarden brewmasters’ creativity led the iconic beer we know today and we are proud to perpetuate the tradition.”
The event
The program, held at BGC, was filled with fun and arts. From the live bands to the art stations. It was a night of triumph and art.
Of course, the bands
