- Later on, she discovered that he was cheating while she was away.
- The man quickly went to his feet and said he would break up with the other woman so they can get back together again.
In a relationship, it is important that both parties are emotionally invested to each other, as a relationship will not work without the cooperation of one party or another.
Some people say that being in a relationship is like a running a business. You need a capital or investment, you need to have good managerial skills, and expect that it won’t always be a sunny day.
However, no matter how much a person shows his/her love to the other party, it is sometimes still insufficient.
One of the women who entered into a relationship is Amcie Christine Tonio.
She made sure that her boyfriend feels that he is loved, to the point where she would even send him expensive material things to keep him happy.
But despite of her efforts, the man still cheated on her.
Tonio shared her story on her Facebook account which immediately went viral.

Kahit Anong Effort pa ang ibigay mo sa mahal mo. Lolokohin at iiwan ka pa din nila para sa kanilang pang sariling kaligayahan. Kaya dapat marunong kang makipag sabayan at wag mo ibigay ang lahat lahat. Hindi ko pina sisisihan na nag bigay at nag Effort ako. Actually, I’m very thankful coz I’ve learned a lot.
I learned so much and I apply that knowledge to become better now.

Tonio broke up with her now ex-boyfriend after she discovered that he was cheating on her while she was having her on-the-job training abroad.
She trusted him that they would easily overcome a whole three months being in a long distance relationship. Little did she know that he won’t be able to last that long, and found another woman.
“Pero hindi ako nagsisi na binigay ko sa kanya mga yan kase kahit papaano . Hindi man kami para sa isat isa . Atleast naging masaya kami sa Feeling ng bawat isa . Karma na lang nya na pinag palit ako sa iba . At pinag sabay sa iba habang nasa new york ako.”
“Dapat kapag nag bigay may kasamang mahabang mensahe . Hahha pede ko naman toh itype at isend na lang sa FB or sa chat kaso iba pa din ang Sulat kamay ko. Sana naitago mo toh kahit break na tayo hahahhahahha.”

Tonio shared how she tried to make their relationship last by making efforts for him. The long letters, the gifts, and more especially – the love she gave to him.
Unfortunately, all of it wasn’t enough for him.
The netizens who had seen her post had diverse opinions in this issue. Some said that she’s better off alone, while the others thought that she was bitter and bragging about the items she would’ve given to her ex-boyfriend.
At the end of the day, Tonio shouldn’t over think about what happened to her relationship with her ex-boyfriend as there is someone out there who is more than worthy of all her love and efforts.
Tonio should save it instead for the one that will surely make all her past heartbreaks worth it.
