- A mother of four children, named Linda Baranowski passed away after using the pills and cream she bought online.
- According to reports, she was paranoid with her appearance, which explains why she bought the pills, cream and slimming tea.
Everyone dreams of a fit and sexy body that they can flaunt any time they like.
However, due to various reasons, being in a good shape is not as easy as 1, 2, and 3. If a person wants to be slim, he/she needs to be in a strict diet and do a regular exercise to trim down those fats in an instant.
Apparently, not everyone has the means to do so as there some who are too busy to even jog for a bit, and because of this reason, people are encouraged to take the short cut – having a surgery, or drinking slimming juice and pills.
One of the people who were lured into trying out such alternatives is Linda Baranowski.
Based on what the source had reported, the woman was paranoid about her looks and decided to use fat burning pills, cream and even drank a slimming tea.
Unfortunately, Baranowski passed away using such items which she had gotten from a Facebook seller, few weeks after trying them out. Before she died, she experienced various health problems such as stomach pain, and severe skin issues.
She was rushed to the hospital immediately and thought that she was improving. However, she was pronounced dead one afternoon.
The authorities said that the medical professionals didn’t see any possible reasons as to why it happened to Baranowski aside from the intake of pills and tea, and the cream.
Furthermore, it was revealed that the products she used were Yili Balo hot chili anti-cellulite slimming cream and T5 strongest fat burn tablets produced by Chinese factory, and Himalayan tea bags from a Facebook seller.
Reportedly, Baranowski rubbed the hot chilli-based cream on various parts of her body such as her legs, arms and stomach – which are the same body parts where the burns developed and the skin fell off.
According to Coroner Geoffrey Sullivan, “It’s likely that Linda Baranowski died as a result of an inflammatory reaction to dietary supplements she was using in the lead-up to her death. While there have been reports of skin agents being used by those kinds of slimming gels, they’re not aware of any deaths that have occurred in these circumstances, But, given the likely cause of death I remain concerned that these products are still on sale.”
Consultant Niall Martin explained that there isn’t any other explanation for the occurrence of what happened to Baranowski other than her recent use of the health products. “Going through what the family were able to tell me we couldn’t really find anything that had contributed. There were no recent illnesses, no recent changes to medication – she was in most ways a healthy lady. The only thing that really stood out in fact was the use of the tablets and creams. Sometimes these things can take up to six weeks before they actually do anything. The problem is quite often the cause can remain elusive.”
Baranowski’s experience is clearly a warning to the consumers to beware of purchasing products online – most especially on Facebook.
If a person really wants to be slim in a short period of time, they should seek medical help and not just refer to friend’s recommendations.
What are your thoughts about this matter? Are you one of those who purchase often from sellers on Facebook?
