- A female netizen named Bernice Chan shared a very alarming post on her Facebook account.
- In the video, there was a man who pretended to be asking for a small amount of money from the customers of the restaurant.
- A few seconds later, he left imperceptibly carrying the victim’s phone without anyone noticing.
Nowadays, law offenders have improved their tactics on how to put their plan into action.
Some of them use modernized equipment or special potions, while there are a few who had developed their physical skills instead.
The most common tool they use to steal from their victim is their hands. Before they execute their plan, they make sure that their hands are well-trained to move as fast as they can in a short period of time to avoid being seen by other people.
Unfortunately, the law offenders have been successful as another victim had her phone stolen in the broad daylight.
The incident was shared to the social media by a Facebook user named Bernice Chan.
“Share ko lng po ang nangyare sa burger chain sa Salawag Dasmarinas Cavite: makikita sa video na pumasok ang lalaking ito nagmasid muna sya sa paligid at nagtanong sa cashier kung nasaan ang toilet, paglabas nya ng toilet lumapit sya sa grupo ng mga customers na nagcecelebrate ng birthday.”
According to Chan, a man suspiciously entered the premises and went to use the comfort room. The moment he got out, he went to the group of customers who were eating at that moment.
“Nakita nmin na tila umiiling na ung mga babaeng customer(nung nakausap nmin ung mga customers sinabi nila na nanghihingi ng pera ung lalake khit limang piso lng daw).”
In the video, the man was holding some papers which he showed to the nearest customer. According to the customer, the man was asking for money from them but refused to give him.
A few seconds later, the man left and the customer’s phone was gone in an instant. Therefore, the ones who had seen the video clip suspected that the man stole the phone.
“Masdan nyo maige ung kaliwang kamay nung lalake na may hawak n papel at ung kanang kamay nmn nya ung panlito pra duon magfocus ung kausap nya. Sa isang saglit lng dinukot na nya ung cellphone nung babae na nsa ibabaw ng mesa.”
After seeing another video in a different angle, they confirmed their guesses that the man was indeed a thief.
“Mapapansin po ninyo ung pananamit ng mandurukot. Pls pki share po para kumalat at mahuli itong wlang hiyang ito pra hindi na muling makapambiktima. Ayan po ung picture nung lalake.
Kung sino man po ung nkakakilala paki message na lng po ako nakablotter n rin po ito sa barangay Salawag Dasmarinas Cavite.”
The man’s hands were too fast that the customers didn’t even notice that he had already run away with the woman’s phone.
Meanwhile, some of the netizens didn’t believe at first but were convinced after seeing the second video that Chan shared as well.
According to Chan, the man was already reported to the local authority and is being searched as of the moment.
In connection with this, the public is advised to be extra cautious of their personal belongings whenever they are outside of their homes as no one knows when and where incidents like this will happen.
