- An OFW named Pichie Inoue took her own life after being forced to so due to the rightful justice that weren’t given to her.
- Inoue was a rape victim; not by any stranger, but by the people whom she trusted the most – her family members.
Rape is one of the most severe crimes that can happen to a civilian.
Everyone knows how devastating it can be to be a victim of the said crime. It can ruin a person’s life, and will not be erased from their minds until the day they die.
There are cases where victims are fortunate to have justice served to them and have the offenders locked up in jail. However, there are also others didn’t received the rightful justice they deserve after having a horrendous experience.
Pichie Inoue is a rape victim, who started a new life as an OFW in Japan. She married a man who willingly built a family with her, and wholeheartedly accepted whatever she had gone through in the past.
She thought she could finally be free of her dark past, but she was wrong. Her terrible experience traumatized her, which she carried on to her present life.
As per Inoue’s story, she was molested by her own father, brother, uncle, and even a family friend back when she was still residing in the Philippines.
She wanted them to pay for what they did to her, but it never happened as she was prevented by her family from doing so. Moreover, Inoue was extremely disappointed after her own mother, who knew the situation, decided to turn a blind eye on her.
Inoue’s family didn’t want to be the talk of the town once their intriguing scandal gets out. Apparently, they don’t want to be a laughingstock to their neighborhood.
This gave her a heavy burden. She wanted to live a life without having to remember her terrible experience, which didn’t become possible for her.
Furthermore, Inoue mentioned that if she would want to take her own life, she’d preferably do ‘it’ in Japan.
Unfortunately, no one was able to stop Inoue from taking her own life.
She took a handful of pills, drinking it all at once, as she was recording her suicide on her cell phone.
