- Maute Member sings a horrifying song
- Marawi City is now 80% under control by AFP
- Maute member likes to die in the name of Jihad
No matter how hard we conceal what’s currently happening in the Philippines, we can never deny it. We are recently invaded by a local terrorist group called Maute, since then, they have been the topic in both online and social issues. The focal point of this group was in Marawi City, Mindanao but they have been allegedly causing terror attacks in Luzon and Visayas.
One question remains
It is indeed odd when Marawi City is composed of 97% Muslim people. On the other hand, Maute group said that they are actually fighting in the name of Jihad, for their religion, Islam.
Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has been battling out this group as soon as the news broke about the invasion of Maute in Marawi. They allegedly rescued and protected the whole city and was able to control the terrorism.
And as of the latest update, AFP claimed that 80% of Marawi is now under their control.
One voice
Setting aside the violence of this group, one member was caught singing a very emotional song on tape. It attracted attention from the netizens. The video was originally posted by Magodas Ako.
One netizen translated the song it was found out that is actually a Maranao song that says,
“I’m so lucky that I will die Saheed oh my parents, I’ll be living in paradise with the midadari don’t heal my wounds and place my firearms beside me, oh father just forgive (me).”
Saheed, a word that is mentioned in the song, is a way of dying in Jihad. On the other hand, Midadari means a woman in paradise.
Here’s the video of the Maute member singing emotionally.
