- Kionchan opens its third branch at Marquee Mall, Pampanga
- Enjoy ultimate Japanese-Filipino dessert experience only with Kionchan
Now that Kionchan has opened its third branch in Angeles City, Pampanga, I guess we have another reason to head up North. Located on the outskirts of Marquee Mall, this rising Japanese-Filipino Dessert shop proves why they are definitely worth the travel.
Crepes and Parfait?
With two existing branches in strategic parts of the mall, Kionchon finally opens up their third branch near Dakasi and Starbucks. Providing authentic Japanese flavors with a classic Pinoy twist, Kionchon serves Pampangueños an ultimate dessert experience.
Would you believe that Kionchan actually serves 21 flavors of crepes and kakigori? They were able to get the perfect combination of Japanese and Filipino taste.
As they opened their third branch last weekend, we can only hope for the best for this up-and-coming food kiosk. Young Japanese entrepreneurs Akiko Okamoto and Kanako Takizawa are very excited establishing a business here in the Philippines.
You can never miss their delectable offerings starting from their crepes. They have combinations more than you can imagine. From matcha and berries to mango banana karamelo!
And if you are wondering what a Kakigori is, it is a Japanese shaved ice dessert flavored with syrup and condensed milk. Just a fun fact, Philippines’ famous Halo-halo came from Kakigori. This one right here is their specialty, the Halo-gori, a mixture of our Halo-halo with a pang of Japanese Kakigori,
Kionchan’s future
With the warm welcome of the Pampangueños to Kionchan, the people behind it are planning to expand their horizons to 30 branches in 2 years. We know that we’re not the only excited ones here. According to Okamoto, they are targeting Ortigas, Quezon City, and San Juan.
Here’s another great news. To fasten up this goal, the company is opening Kionchan for franchising early next year!
