It is incomparable, literally. The beaches in the Philippines before is priceless, but now? Cluttered with waste and dirt.

Known for being an environmental activist, Academy Award recipient Leonardo DiCaprio shares before and after photos of the Philippine beaches (once it was filled with trash). It is remembered that during his acceptance speech when he won his first Oscar in 2016, his main concern is the climate change.
On his personal Instagram account, the 42-year-old actor posted a comparison of Philippine beaches before and after it got was cleaned out.
It is, indeed, alarming because of Greenpeace, DiCaprio’s source, tagged the Philippines as the ‘Third biggest source of ocean plastic pollution in the world.’ The first photo shows plastic garbages, and all sorts of trash.
Meanwhile, the second was taken after a clean-up drive where almost no dirt can be seen.
He captioned it asking, “Plastic or no plastic. Which do you prefer?”A short yet powerful message from the Hollywood actor who has donated fortune through various support environmental conservation efforts.
Photos were taken from a Greenpeace campaign which gathered volunteers to clean up Freedom Island’s beach.
It is amusing how big celebrities, despite their stardom, takes time to show love for some important global issue, i.e, climate change.
