- No more sexy roles for Cristine Reyes?
- Cristine Reyes sets own limitations on future roles
As a mother to the lovely Amarah, Cristine Reyes is now more conscious to the roles she accepts.
No more sexy roles?
In an interview during the BlogCon of OctoArts’ latest horror offering, Spirit of the Glass 2: The Haunted, Cristine bravely answered the issues being thrown at her, whether she will continue portraying sexy roles or not. She sets her own limitations, she said.
Even though, her husband, Ali Khatibi has always been very supportive of her, she has to keep in mind that everything she does will reflect to their daughter.
“Wala naman siyang binabawal,” Cristine answered if Ali is forcing her not to accept daring roles. “Ang sa kanya lang, parang kung gagawa man ako ng isang project, make sure na it’s something that Amarah (their daughter) will be proud of dahil iba na ngayon,” she added.
Is she missing her roles back then?
“Kung noon, kahit ano, kaya kong gawin dahil wala naman akong iniisip na anak at asawa. Pero ngayon, dahil kasal kami, may asawa na ako, may anak ako, siyempre, lahat ng desisyon na gagawin ko ngayon, kailangan ‘yung makakabuti rin para sa kanila,” Cristine answered.
Thankful enough
The 28-year-old Kapamilya actress is truly grateful for the blessings being showered on her. With back to back films in a month, she cannot help but be thankful.
Prior to SOTG2, Cristine takes lead on Star Cinema’s Seven Sundays.
Spirit of the Glass 2: The Haunted will hit the theaters nationwide on November 1. Let’s see how Cristine will take us to the fright train with Daniel Matsunaga, Benjamin Alves, Janine Gutierrez, Ahron Villaflor, Ashley Ortega, Enrico Cuenca and introducing Maxine Medina, directed by Joey Reyes.
