Life really is full of surprises. There are times that it will shock you with great news but there are also unfortunate moments that’ll put you down. In this case, it happened both at once. The good news came with the bad.
Louis Ferolin and Alexa Eddy Carvajal are fresh graduates of Nursing in Cebu City. Both aspire to be registered nurses in the future, to finally apply their knowledge to practice.
Unfortunately, life did not gave them the ending they want.
On December 12, Tuesday, the two attended a “despidida” party.
They shared the same vehicle to go back home by dawn when all of a sudden their Isuzu MU-X car with plate number ABN 5206 slammed into the flyover in Barangay Barrio Luz. When they got to the hospital, they were declared dead on arrival.
It’s all too soon, everyone from Ferolin and Carvajal’s circle agreed, especially now that their dream had come true. On the same date of their accident, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) revealed the results of the previous board exams. Carvajal and Ferolin’s sequence numbers are 1368 and 2352, respectively.
“Heaven gained 2 new RNs (registered nurses) today. Our prayers are with you and your families. RIP Louis Ferolin and Alexa Carvajal of Batch 2017,” The Facebook page of CDU College of Nursing Alumni Association’s post read.
