To welcome the release of Marvel Studio’s Black Panther in cinemas, take a peek into the kingdom of Wakanda. Visitors can check out an immersive experience of The Secrets of Wakanda in select SM malls. Step into the entrance arch and cross your way over into Wakanda.
After a few steps, take a glimpse of the mystical metal Vibranium in the Vibranium cave. Both Captain America‘s shield and Black Panther‘s suit consisted of the said metal. The controversial mineral also allowed the kingdom of Wakanda to take advanced steps in technology. This made the kingdom a target for enemies who envy its Vibranium resources.
Black Panther and the Warriors of Wakanda fiercely protect the country and its people. The soldiers’ traditional yet hi-tech outfits inspired the gallery which visitors of all ages can check out. Cap off your small tour of Wakanda and pay tribute to their leader, T’Challa. You can also get the chance of taking photos with a life-sized figurine of the Black Panther.
The Secrets of Wakanda arrived at the SM Mall of Asia on January 26, Friday then traveled to SM East Ortigas on February 8, Thursday. It will, then, be at the SM City Fairview on February 22, Thursday and traveled to SM City San Lazaro on March 8, Thursday. There will also be a chance for fans to purchase Wakanda-inspired apparel in some chosen location.
