However, fans unite when a movie that features both Kapuso and Kapamilya stars comes out. One may not notice this but actually, there has already been quite a lot of films that partnered artists from these two different networks.

1. Paano Kita Iibigin
This romance drama starring Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid is a 2007 hit film directed by Binibining Joyce Bernal. This is the first time that the two opposite network stars partnered with each other.
2. When I Met U
Before Richard Gutierrez transferred to ABS-CBN, he was teamed up with KC Concepcion in this 2009 rom-com movie directed by Joel Lamangan. This is the second time that the two stars got paired up together after their first hit movie of 2008, “For the First Time.”
3. You’re Still the One
This 2015 romance drama is the first time that Kapuso leading man, Dennis Trillo and Kapamilya’s “Dance Princess,” Maja Salvador got paired up together. Also starring Ellen Adarna and Richard Yap and directed by Chris Martinez, the film was a co-production of Star Cinema and Regal Entertainment.
4. Segunda Mano
This movie is an official entry in the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival. Also directed by Binibining Joyce Bernal, this horror film starred the Philippine cinema’s horror queen, Kris Aquino and Kapuso star, Dingdong Dantes.
5. Won’t Last a Day Without You
Looking for a “kilig to the bones” kind of movie? This movie is for you! This 2011 rom-com movie starring Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson featured a rare and special participation of “Eat Bulaga” host, Joey De Leon. The film is directed by Raz dela Torre and was released in 2011.

8. Kung Fu Divas
“Comedy Queen,” Ai Ai delas Alas, was still with ABS CBN when this action comedy movie of 2013 was released. Together with Kapuso star, Marian Rivera and directed by Onat Diaz, the film was part of Star Cinema’s 20th Anniversary.
9. Da Possessed
Directed by Binibining Joyce Bernal, this horror-comedy film starred Kapamilya artist, Vhong Navarro and Kapuso artist, Solenn Heussaff. The Black Saturday premiere of this movie garnered Php17 million.
10. Just the 3 of Us
Who can forget this cute rom-com drama movie? This is the first time that John Lloyd Cruz partnered up with Kapuso leading lady, Jennylyn Mercado. This is also the first time that Mercado starred a top-billing Star Cinema movie with a Php100 million commercial success. This film was released in 2016 and directed by Cathy Garcia- Molina.
11. The Unmarried Wife
This film is the second time that Angelica Panganiban and Dingdong Dantes teamed up in a movie after their box-office hit, One More Try. Directed by Maryo J. delos Reyes, this is the fourth time that Kapuso star, Dingdong Dantes lead in a Star Cinema movie. Panganiban also won the Best Actress FAMAS Award for this film.
12. Seven Sundays
Powerhouse cast, you say? Well, here’s the 2017 tear-jerking drama-comedy movie directed by Cathy Garcia- Molina. If you’re looking for a movie to watch with family, this is it! The film stars Ronaldo Valdez, Aga Muhlach, Enrique Gil, Christine Reyes, and Kapuso artist, Dingdong Dantes.
