- An abandoned baby was found at a vacant lot beside Jollibee Imus Pag-asa, Cavite.
- There have been no hints as to who left the baby at the lot as CCTV’s failed to capture the exact area there he was left
On June 20, a baby boy was taken cared of by Jollibee employees as he was left abandoned on a vacant lot beside Jollibee Imus Pag-asa.
According to Facebook user Jesica Tan Verano, the baby was said to be found hidden at the lawn under a papaya tree.
She stated that the employees of the fast food chain found an enforcer carrying the baby and they quickly suggested that he should be taken inside so that he won’t suffer from the extreme heat. They were lucky enough to be able to have a colleague that is currently breastfeeding and were able to make the baby drink milk.
The boy was said to be found hidden at the lawn under a papaya tree.
Both the employees and enforcer have no idea who left the baby as the area of the vacant lot couldn’t be reached by the chain’s CCTV cameras.
The baby is now in the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
