- She has filed a case against him and he has been set to render community service because of the abuse.
On July 14, a Twitter user’s thread has rapidly made its way to the timelines of users of the social media platform as she exposed her ex-boyfriend that has been physically abusing her throughout their relationship.
Kim narrated the story from start to end, clarifying that she’s doing it for first-hand clarification, not to make a huge mess. “I mean, if you’re gonna talk about it, you might as well get your facts straight (from me, sino pa bang mentally capable dito ako lang naman)”
She said that it started like any other relationship, exciting and great. The first time he got angry was when her then boyfriend got angry when he thought that Kim went somewhere without telling him. After that, they started to fight over “petty” things. She wrote, “Mismong paguwi ko lang saglit sa apt or lags binibigyan nya ng meaning? Umuwi lang ako nag cheat na daw? Tanga ka ba pamilya ko uuwian ko e.”
After a couple of months, the fights got worse. He then thought that Kim was about to grab drinks with his friend but in reality, she chose him over the offer to drink. And that was the first time her boyfriend hit her.
“At first, the bruises and scars weren’t evident but as time passed by, things JUST GOT WORSE; the beatings. I was putting up a smile but i was all broken inside and couldnt possibly understand how he could do such things then act all normal and be sorry in a matter of seconds???”
She said that even if the cause of the fights are shallow, he still managed to hit her and she had to sneak out just to inform her friends about the abuse.
Aside from beating her, Kim also stated that he used to cheat on her by bringing girls to the condo whenever she’s not there.
What drew the line was when she suffered from hematoma because of the abuse. “My head was all tender from all the bruising, it was so bad i couldn’t so much as touch it for days. I also had a chest trauma, my ribs were bruised and I had trouble breathing for weeks”
When she left him, he proceeded to text her, apologizing. He also begged her to not tell the school about what has happened as his education and family will be involved.
“IF YOU WERE SO INNOCENT, WHY WERE YOU BEGGING LIKE THIS DAYS AFTER I LEFT YOU? E alam ng lahat na ikaw lang lagi kasama ko. If not sino pa? Si casper the friendly ghost?”
After Kim has confronted him about the incident, he told her that it was because he was really pissed off. He also threw her things on the floor and threw her shoes out the window.
“Apparently I wasn’t the only victim and i only found out about it nung wala na kami. You really think na you can get away with everything that you did just because they decided to keep their silence? Well boy, not this time.”
The thread has reached more than 16k retweets and 31k likes on Twitter. It has also been revealed that the abuser being pertained to is a UST student named Kyle Viray.
He has been said to have received a warning and community service hours because of the incident.
