Actress Nadine Lustre‘s parents recently celebrated their 25th year together by renewing their vows.
Photos from the fun-filled private occasion were posted on Nice Print Photography’s Instagram page last June 29.
Despite the recent tragedy, the family posed happily. Nadine is with her parents Dong and My Lustre, her brother Isiah, and sister Naomi Alexa. Isaiah, her other younger brother, took his own life on October 8 of last year as he struggled with depression.
Nadine shared that she, with the help of her friend, planned most of the celebration and the renewal of vows.
“I mean I hired my friend to set up the whole thing. It wasn’t easy because we had two weeks of preparation so it was nerve-wracking, it was really stressful but I mean you got through it.
My parents wanted to have a simple celebration but for me kasi, celebrating 25 years is something else, 25 years of marriage together. I mean I’m 24 so my whole life, they’ve been together. There were struggles and everything but I mean, it’s something else ‘pag 25 years na.
The whole celebration, the whole party is my gift sa kanila,”
James Reid was also spotted in a photo with Nadine, her brother, and parents at the after-party.
