- President Rodrigo Duterte makes another bold statement that contradicts the belief of the Catholic Church
- Duterte states that his God doesn’t have heaven nor hell as his God is forgiving
After President Rodrigo Duterte’s controversial statement regarding God, he continues to challenge the Catholic Church doctrines as he made another set of bold statements.
On July 2, the president spoke on the 58th founding anniversary of the Southern Leyte province in Maasin City. He stated that contrary to the God that the church believes in, his God does not send anyone to hell but at the same time, doesn’t have heaven.
Yung babae babae?
Ang Diyos, all forgiving.
Duterte also said that he does not believe in Saint Peter and encouraged everyone to also not believe in the first pope of the Catholic faith.
May malunggay ba dito? Ah sigurado. Huwag kayo maniwala sa kanila. Dito kayo maniwala. Iglesia ni Duterte ang bagong relihiyon ngayon,”
Last June 22, Duterte made a statement, calling God “stupid”, and questioning the story of creation.
