ABS-CBN and Cornerstone‘s talent Sam Milby admitted that he was surprised by his ex-girlfriend Mari Jasmine‘s new relationship with filmmaker Samantha Lee.
In an interview on Tuesday, he said that he was surprised by Jasmine‘s announcement.
“I didn’t expect, there was no sign. So, I was surprised lang noong nalaman ko,” he said during the launch of his upcoming series ‘Halik’.
“I don’t really want to say too much. I knew a while before pero noong kami, no signs, wala. I didn’t know that she’s open to that kind of relationship so I had no idea.”
He later added that it was not his story to tell and defended Jasmine from allegations of a third-party relationship.
“From my understanding, it’s her first time to experience relationship with a woman. But walang overlapping. There was no third party kaya kami nag-break, it’s not like that. We broke up and she started dating.”
Milby clarified that he is still friends with the blogger and that he is genuinely happy for her.
On the other hand, there has been rumors of the Samantha Lee brewing up a movie that revolves around the story of her, Jasmine, and Milby.
It has been said that Ryle Santiago will be portraying Milby and Gabbi Garcia will be acting as Jasmine. It is allegedly intended for the Quezon City Film Festival.
Mari Jasmine revealed her relationship with the ‘Baka Bukas’ director Samantha Lee through an Instagram post, after the Pride Parade held on June 30.
