The administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has maintained their “very good” rating for the second quarter of 2018. This is according to the survey conducted by Social Weather Stations in June.
It has been found that 72% of adult Filipinos are satisfied with the general performance of the government, 15% are undecided, and 13% are dissatisfied. The Duterte administration has maintained the satisfaction rating from March to June of this year due to the increases in net satisfaction in the areas of Mindanao and Balance Luzon added to the decreases from Metro Manila and Visayas.
The administration’s rating shoot up by 4 points in Mindanao and stayed “very good” in Balance Luzon and Visayas. On the other hand, the Metro Manila satisfaction rating dropped from “very good” to “good”.
Classes A, B, and C’s rating rose up from “very good” to “excellent” while it stayed at “very good” in class D and E.
The citizens interviewed were also asked to rate their satisfaction in several subjects. The administration’s rating rose from “moderate” to “very good” on promoting human women’s rights, however, it went from “moderate” to “good” at ensuring that no family will ever be hungry, and from “very good” to “good” on fighting terrorism and protecting human rights.
The survey was made up of 1,200 respondents.
