- Theater director Paul Ballano called out ABS-CBN regarding Malone’s situation.

More than a year after Carl Malone Montecido became a finalist in the first season of It’s Showtime‘s Tawag ng Tanghalan, it was revealed that he still hasn’t received his talent fees from his mall shows and television appearances.
‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ blind finalist Malone failed to obtain talent fees due to lack of necessary documents as posted by certain theater director named Paul Ballano via his facebook account.
Ballano shared how he met the blind contestant on Sunday, August 26. A certain Lyndon Tupas asked him for help regarding Carl’s financial state.
It turned out that the finalist doesn’t have his own place and he and his mom are currently occupying a space within Lyndon’s property.

Yesterday, i was starving at 8am, since ayoko un food s hotel i decided to go a nearby tapsihan. While i was there waiting for my order, a man name Lyndon Tupas from Bacolod talked to me and asked me what am i doing in Bacolod since he is a friend of the owner of the tapsihan. I told him i have a show this September.
This man was very hospitable, specially when he knew that it was a rest day for me and told me, lets go and i will bring you to different places here. In bacolod he said, Laag ta! While we were on his van he said, Ay Paul naalala ko, di ba director ka? kilala mo ba si Carl Malone. And i said, yes familiar! Parang sya yata yung bulag sa Tawag ng Tanghalan nung Grand Finals. And he said. “Perfect!! siya yun!!”
Ballano added, “Pero ang press release sa palabas na ito gagaan ang kanilang mga buhay pag sumali sila. Carl Malone was one of the Final 5. But among the 5, SYA LANG ANG HINDI NABIGYAN NG BREAK… Inspite of the million votes they gathered during the show just for him because its a voting show.”
The director then met the grand finalist and learned that he still hasn’t received his talent fee due to BIR documents and receipts he’s unable to provide. He stressed out that someone could’ve given him assistance in consideration of his condition.
My Opinion: Pambihira naman mga kapatid s industriya. BULAG yung tao!!! Paano nya magagawa ang mga papeles na yan? Tayo ngang nakakakita hirap mag ayos di ba? You should have given him an assistance, O ginawa nyong oportunidad ito ng di sya mabayaran ng buo sa isang bagay na kanyang pinaghirapan!!

ABS-CBN did an Immediate Action.
According to a report by PEP.ph, Ballano informed them that ABS-CBN already called Carl and assured him that they will do something about the situation.
“Isa sa mga umaksyon nito ay si Direk Laurenti Dyogi, assured na aasikasuhin ito and they did.
“They were saying na hindi two years bago nakuha ang prizes. May balance lang daw sa mga TF nung bata from TV shows and mall shows yata.
“Authorization letter na lang ang hiningi nila para makuha na yung TF ni Carl,” lahad pa ni Direk Paul, na hindi alintana ang mga nam-bash sa kanya.”
