Broadcaster Aljo Bendijo revealed the errors he found in reports and news articles made by the mainstream media.
The PTV anchor took it to the his ‘Birada Bendijo‘ Facebook page to expose the typographical errors of media channels and websites such as ABS-CBN, GMA, and News 5, among others.
He first pointed out ABS-CBN TV Patrol‘s mistake as they identified the interviewee as Representative Jericho Nograles of the PBA Party-list, however, the one in the video was Jericho’s brother, Karlo, who is currently the chairman on Appropriations Committee of the House of the Representatives.
Ohohoy! Sadya talagang walang perpekto!
Dahil kahit pinaka sikat na primetime news program, madalas din magkamali!
Akalain mo si Cong. Karlo ginawang Cong. Jericho na kanyang kapatid?
Humingi naman ng paumanhin ang programa sa bandang huli.
Pero pag iba ang nagkamali, headline agad!

Bendijo also posted about a typographical error on GMA News‘ website wherein they typed “presidential rice” instead of “race“.
He poked fun on the error and compared government officials to different rice dishes.

He also posted an amusing mistake made in News 5’s Facebook page. He wrote, “Eto pa isa! Wala talagang perpekto!
“Suportahan na lang natin ang mga boksingero “
“Sana ay masungkit nila ang gintong medalya!”
A typo of sports website, Spin.ph, was also posted as the name is supposed to be Rogen Ladon, and not Lagon.
Bendijo is the anchor of PTV’s Sentro Balita and the anchor of Facebook DDS Radio’s Birada Bendijo.
