Derrick Monasterio amazed by Sanya Lopez’s skills; can’t believe that she’s still a virgin

• Derrick Monasterio said that he was surprised about Sanya’s skills when it came to their intimate scenes.
• The pair will show off their chemistry in their upcoming movie ‘Wild and Free.’

Derrick Monasterio recently admitted that it’s unbelievable that ‘Wild and Free’ co-star Sanya Lopez is still a virgin.

He made this remark after praising her for her skills in their upcoming Regal Entertainment film. He stated that the actress was impressive, especially in their intimate scenes.

“Hindi ako naniniwala kasi ang galing niya, eh. Ganu’n siya kagaling umarte, hindi ko na-feel,” said Derrick.

The star added that he was also nervous when he was doing the love scene, afraid he’d do anything wrong so he held himself back a bit.

“Kasi baka bigla akong masampal. Ako, na-envision ko na agad ’yung magiging takbo ng scene, eh. Kung ano ’yung mga mangyayari.

“Siyempe, pini-filter ko rin kung ano ang dapat hindi gawin, hindi ko talaga gagawin kasi respect kay Sanya.”

It was all good though as Sanya also gave Derrick compliments for being a gentleman and for doing intimate scenes professionally.

“Nakatulong din po sa akin na gentleman po talaga si Derrick at close kami. ’Pag po kasi nandu’n ka sa set at nandu’n ’yung respeto sa isa’t isa, magagawa n’yo nang maayos ang bawat eksena n’yo.”

As the actress has no experience yet with real life sexual interactions, she really prepared for her role.

“Of course, nag-prepare po ako, nanood din po ako talaga ng iba’t ibang intimate scenes. Nanood ako ng ’yung makakatulong sa akin, alam kong makakatulong para sa karakter ko, du’n sa malapit sa karakter ko.

“At the same time, ’yun nga po, nag-workshop kami at nandiyan po si Direk Connie para tulungan kami sa mga bagay na nahihirapan kami at nagtanong-tanong din ako actually sa mga friends ko na nakaranas din ng mga ganitong eksena. Kasi siyempre, hindi naman malayo ang story namin sa totoong nangyayari sa buhay, eh.”

On the other hand, Derrick admitted that such scenes are not new to him.

“Kasi, of course, as a millennial, I’m sure, most of you guys here, nu’ng age namin kayo, ano rin, may mga wild and free rin, ’di ba? Ang sa akin lang siguro, kumukuha lang ako sa past experiences ko… ginagawa lang namin siya as art.”

‘Wild and Free’ will be in cinemas starting October 10.
