Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado recently filed her candidacy for her second term. Amidst rumors surrounding Cavite 2nd District Rep. Strike Revilla, she stated that their family remains solid and tightly-knit.
According to Lani, the support of the former Senator Bong Revilla‘s family is still strong even though he’s still jailed at Camp Crame.
She proceeded on warning all the people planning to ruin their family, saying that they won’t succeed.
“Lahat po ng nagbabalak na gibain ang aming pamilya, ngayon pa lang sinasabi ko sa inyo hindi kayo magsa-succeed.”
“Hindi kailanman matutupad ang mga pangarap niyo. Hindi kayo magwawagi. Kaming lahat sa aming pamilya ay nagkakaisa.”
Ethel Booba quoted the tweet, saying that politics is an effective family business for the Revillas.

It was said that Lani’s son, Jolo Revilla, will file his candidacy for vice governor of Cavite.
