What Kapamilya show did Regine Velasquez try to guest in before?

• Regine Velasquez admitted that she has wished for a GGV guesting for such a long time.
• She expressed her happiness upon finally appearing in Vice Ganda’s talk show.

Regine Velasquez recently made her first talk show appearance as a Kapamilya in ‘Gandang Gabi Vice.’ The episode aired last Sunday, October 28.

Vice said that GGV has become the official show to welcome new and returning ABS-CBN artists like the Asia’s Songbird to the network.

“Kasi ang Gandang Gabi Vice, parang naatasan ito. Sa dinami dami ng programa sa ABS, ito ang naatasang programang sumalubong ng mga bumabalik na Kapamilya at ng mga bagong Kapamilya.

“Kaya naman noong sinabi sa akin, ‘O yung ate mo ay Kapamilya na at sa ‘yo mage-guest, ikaw na magbigay sa kanya ng ID.”

Staying true to his word, Vice then gave Regine her access card to enter the premises and buildings in the ABS-CBN compound.

The singer also admitted that she did try guesting in the show even when she was still a Kapuso. This is also the reason why she felt extremely overwhelmed about her appearance in GGV.

“You don’t know how happy I am to actually be here. Tinitignan kita kasi parang ang tagal ko nang gustong mag guest dito sa GGV, parang na ooverwhelm ako Vice, I’m so happy.

“I am very happy. Like I said, di ba, parang ilang beses akong nag-a-attempt na gusto kong mag-guest? And I’m just so happy that I’m finally here. Alam mo kanina, tinitignan kita noong habang nandiyan ka na, sabi ko totoo na nga, andito na ako sa GGV.”

On the other hand, Vice also said that he wanted Regine to guest on the show ever since its premiere in 2011.

“Nagsisimula pa lang ang programang ito wala akong ibang iniisip na gusto kong makasama sa entabladong ito kung hindi ikaw.

“I am the happiest today, hindi ako mapakali, makatulog, ang tagal ko kasing pinapangarap ito at nangyayari na siya ngayon.”

Vice then joked and compared Regine to an OFW going overseas to work and finally returning home.

“Para siyang Kapamilya na nag-OFW lang ‘tapos bumalik kasi tapos na yung kontrata niya sa Dubai at sa Abu Dhabi kaya nandito na siya.”
