After 3 years… “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” to wrap this year?

• Deo Edrinal said that it is sure that FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano will still be ongoing by May 2019.
• Some of the current cast members [of the teleserye] are set to run for the 2019 midterm elections. 

FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano has been in the Philippine television for almost four years and it is still one of the most watched shows.

In fact some GMA Network stars from Cain at Abel has admitted that the show starring Coco Martin is difficult to surpass. One of which is Dennis Trillo, who stars in the Kapuso teleserye.

But how long will the series last?

According to a report in Bandera,  Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Edrinal stated that it is safe to say that Ang Probinsyano‘s airing will still reach the 2019 midterm elections in May.

There are several characters in the series that are portrayed by personalities who will take part in the upcoming elections.

This means that Lito Lapid, Mark Lapid, Jhong Hilario, and Edu Manzano are not allowed to appear in the series once the election period starts.

It is also said that it is still not sure if they will still return to the said action-drama series after May.
