Christmas is the season of giving and one netizen just shared the grand gift he gave his mother.
Facebook user Rotski Bautista shared a video of him playing Kwarta or Kahon with his mother.
He acted like the gameshow host and made his mother chose between the sure money or a box containing something.
The game went on and his mother kept choosing the box even if he offered her ₱5,000 and later increasing the price to ₱15,000.
Despite Rotski’s persistent enticing, the mother chose the box again and again and didn’t show any sign of changing her mind.
When she opened the box, she found it amusing as it contained a cooking pot. But little did she know that the container held a much bigger surprise.
The pot was filled with bundles of ₱1,000 bills that was estimated to have 100 pieces each. The pot held a whopping amount of ₱1 Million!
In a report by GMA News, Rotski expressed that he just wants his mother to experience the a bit of comfort in life as he started saving up for the surprise when he was still in college.
“Gusto kong ma-enjoy niya this time na malakas pa siya ‘yong buhay na hindi niya naranasan, ‘yong buhay na hindi namin naranasan dati.”
