- A group of masturbation enthusiasts created a website and built their own community.
- According to results of a survey, majority of the users don’t think that mutual masturbation is gay.
A social media platform for masturbators have been the talk of the town – particularly of men who are looking for friends to masturbate with.
Opened in September 2009, BateWorld is a “premiere online masturbation community” which aims to promote and encourage male masturbation. It currently has more than 87,000 members.
As majority of the users are gay, it is also attracting an increase in straight male users.
The members can interact with each other through chatrooms, instant messaging, and live videos. After a person has subscribed and payed their fee, they can post explicit photos, comment on forum threads, and share their fantasies.
“It’s an encouraging and supportive, sexually provocative online environment.”
BateWorld said that they allow men to “freely and openly” share their masturbation in a “positive and enthusiastic manner.”
Recent data discovered that 50% of the members identify themselves as gay, 30% bisexual, 10% straight, 4% solosexual, and 5% did not indicate any sexual orientation.
When a survay asked the members “Is mutual masturbation gay?” and the results showed that it is not considered gay among the community.
One voter said, “No. Being homosexual is an attraction. You can bond and bate with a bro and not want a homosexual relationship.”
Another user added, “I usually find more common ground with straight and bi guys since there’s usually firm ground rules and we can usually share more about what we enjoy together.
“We all have and want to share our cocks so don’t overthink it. I think it’s important all parties establish and respect boundaries, whether sexual or otherwise, and that you act as authentically as you can for a mutually good time.”
Legendary musician Paul McCartney previously revealed that he had been a part of a group masturbation with Beatles bandmare John Lennon and friends.
“It was just the kind of thing you didn’t think much of. It was just a group.”
