The fans have credited the show’s success to its simple storytelling and chemistry between its co-stars. The genuine friendship between the actors has made their character portrayals much more believable.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d actually believe the actors were a married couple; bantering and arguing. When it came down to the ratings, it was inevitable for Filipino televiewers to compare it to its time-slot rival show on ABS-CBN, ‘Home Sweetie Home’ which, according to netizens, across all social media platforms, felt more “scripted” when compared to ‘Pepito Manoloto.’
