Lenard Mercado Noble, 17, proudly posed to the cameras in a police-student uniform while holding a make-up brush. The caption on what he clutched says, “Hindi lahat ng ‘Pulis’ matulis… ‘yung iba ‘Make-Up Artist’” to the delight of the netizens.
The post has now garnered over three thousand likes and eight hundred shares on Faceboook.
Noble commented on the page’s post stating that it has been his dream to become a police officer in the future.
Asked by Dailypedia on why he dreamed to be one, the senior high school student from San Miguel National High School answered, “Pangarap ko pong mag pulis dahil gusto ko pong mag-serve sa ating bayan and I think wala naman pong maling kasarian para maging pulis, as long as magampanan mo ng tama ‘yung profession mo.”

“Gusto ko pong i-prove sa kanila na hindi hadlang ang pagiging gay para po maging pulis hangga’t ala kang ginagawang mali. And alam mo sa sarili mo na gagawa at nakakatulong ka sa bayan at siyempre alam mong wala kang tinatapakan na tao,” he added.
Nobel admitted that he only recently came to the realization of wanting to become a police officer. “Parang bihira lang talaga ‘yung mga gay na gustong mag pulis and gaya nga po ng sabi ko na hangga’t kaya mong gampanan ang mga tungkulin mo bilang pulis…”
