• Filipinos are now growing in numbers, they would sacrifice themselves to find a place to live with a low monthly rental
• The owner of the dormitory agrees that the Chinese are said to pay double than the payment of the Filipinos who used to rent on the said dormitory
• This only implies that we Filipinos are taken for granted as our own hardworking people
Nowadays, we have heard a lot about the Philippines and China having disputes over territory, power, and even priorities. China is one of the biggest populations in the world that had been spread out in different countries. Some would travel together with their employers to work in other countries, As company agreement, the employers are the ones who would find a place for them to stay – and offers a landlady a bigger amount of money to kick out all the Filipino tenants in a dorm!
Since Filipinos are now growing in numbers, they would sacrifice themselves to find a place to live with a low monthly rental.
“FILIPINO vs CHINESE LABORERS. IT’S LETHAL. AND IT AIN’T A LAUGHING MATTER.”
This is the caption of Jayvie Mendoza Dizon on his Facebook account, pointing out that we Filipinos were given less priority than the Chinese, as Filipinos were forced to move out in one of the dormitories in Pasay when a Chinese firm rented the whole property for Chinese laborers.
“Non-Chinese tenants in a dormitory in Pasay were forced to move out because a Chinese firm rented the whole property of the house for Chinese laborers.’
The owner of the dormitory agreed as the Chinese were said to pay double than the payment of the Filipinos who used to rent the said dormitory.
“The firm allegedly offered 6,000-pesos per head rent versus the 3,700 pesos per head that Filipino tenants were paying. In other words, those Filipinos will be homeless until they find a decent shelter willing to accept a 3,700-peso rent.”
The Chinese would do everything to house its laborers and since Filipinos don’t have the capability of paying such high rental, the management had already decided to give favor to the Chinese people. Now, this only implies that we Filipinos are taken for granted as our own hardworking people.
“Chinese firm desperately looking for a place to house its laborers. And here are Filipino laborers being evicted all because these Chinese workers have the means. The Philippines granting China favorable labor access. The Philippines taking for granted its hardworking countrymen, ay tamad pala sabi ni Tulfo. The irony. It’s breaking my heart. 💔”
Jayvie had called out his media friend to share this information to bring awareness to the netizens.

It happened also to us at Orange Suites in Alabang last year (around September)… We were asked to move out because a Chinese firm rented the whole property.

There's also a chinese firm wanting to rent here. Okay sa mommy ko nung kausap niya yung pinoy agent but when she found out na it's for Chinese laborers di siya pumayag kahit na wala pa nagrerent sa space. Sana lahat ng Pinoy ay mahalin ang Pilipinas tulad niya.

I wouldn't totally put the blame on the Chinese labourers on this. It would be the greedy real estate brokers, building owners, unscrupulous middlemen. All pinoys. For every instance like these, there are greedy pinoy collaborators, like in government.
