There are some people who would do everything and who loves to share their experiences in a vlog, as they hope to trend on social media. Some would do make-up tutorials, dance challenges, and some would go on food challenges to gain more viewers.
Just like a Chinese vlogger, known as ‘seaside girl Little Seven,’ who tried to eat a live octopus on a live stream but turned out that the octopus sucked her face, where she ended up screaming as she tried to pull it off her face.
The vlogger had only launched her channel 2 weeks ago before the octopus incident happened on the popular Chinese short-video platform Kuaishou. As she claimed she is a seafood lover, she’s been sharing various live stream videos of her eating various seafood and some culinary adventures.
But then, for two weeks, when she started filming and sharing her video, she did not gain enough likes and shares to consider it as a viral hit.
“why none of my clips ended up on the trending topics chart?” the vlogger asked in a previous clip, proving that she really wanted to be famous like other vloggers.

Unexpectedly, she went instant-viral though it wasn’t the way she had planned it when she tried to eat the live octopus on a live stream.
It seems that she really loves to eat seafood and she thought that it is dangerous to eat a live octopus. Octopuses have their own instincts of defending themselves by using the suckers on their tentacles.
The vlogger got unlucky that her face got sucked by an octopus to defend itself.
During my entire twitter history I’ve never asked this before…. but please retweet this vlogger that tried to eat an octopus while it was still alive which resulted with this glorious moment when it tried to pull her face off. Surely @rickygervais has my back on this. pic.twitter.com/BU68QECKq7

Vlogger “attacked” by the LIVE octopus she was about to eat…Cephalod expert Jennifer Mather explained this was an attempt to escape the “painful situation” anticipated by the octopus. Protection under the Animal Welfare Act would have prevented this (reported in the Independent) pic.twitter.com/TQ8gigKDfY

Instead, to be amazed at her by eating a live octopus, her followers ended up watching how she got rid of the sea creature off her face. Though she was able to remove the octopus off her face, it left her with a wound.
