Shangtal De Leon shared her traumatic experience at Quirino Memorial Medical Center that occurred on May 27, 2019.
She gave birth on the said date. According to her, the baby came out looking normal and healthy but then died all of a sudden with no reason.
“May 27 2019 1:25am nanganak ako sa hospital na yan, normal delivery pero patay ang baby ko sobrang sakit bilang ina n dinala ko sya ng siyam na buwan tas mawawala lang sya ng ganun.”
The staff over there were not the nicest according to her.
“grabe mga Doctor at nurse, sobrang masusungit tapos, may nalalaman pa na service with smile sa mga dingding”
The hospital also did not give her an explanation on why her baby died.
Her baby looked like any other baby that came out via normal delivery. “dko alam anu nanyare sa baby ko, oo patay c baby pero lumabas syang maayos ang ulo at buong katawan”
When the baby was given to them, it looked like it suffered a head injury. They couldn’t move him because his bones would crack. She suspected that the nurses might have dropped the baby.
“binigay sya tapyas na ang balat sa tiyan, pisngi at braso, tas ang ulo nya basag2x ang buto sobrang lambot na tumutunog ung mga buto nya sa ulo kaya hindi namin sya magalaw para ayusan at bihisan, gusto ko malaman anu nanyare sa baby ko 😭😭 nahulog nyo ba sya kaya ganun”
She also said that the nurses told her live-in partner to not complain about what happened because they would lose their license, which made them think that the staff might have done something that led to the baby’s death.
“then nung binigay nyo baby ko sa ka live in partner ko, sinabihan nyo pa na wag ireklamo at kasuhan kase mawawalan kayo ng lisensya punyeta, mga walang puso kayo dina kayo naawa sa baby ko”
Netizens felt bad for De Leon.
