- A netizen ranted on social media after her photo was used without her knowledge for a false advertisement
- She had clarified that until now she’s still fat and feels very sad for netizens who believed in the fake ad
A Facebook user named Danah Gutierrez was ranting on social media after seeing her photo being used as a marketing tactic of Alliance in Motion (AIM) for some weight loss products.
She had clarified that until now she’s still fat and she feels very sad for netizens who believed in their false advertisement and spent money on the product.
Danah loves herself as a model who advocates body positivity. She also admits that she had belonged to the plus category most of her life. Because of this, Danah and her sister had to fight to be heard in a culture that only listens to those who have the “perfect body.”

Using her photo to advertise which provokes other people to feel ashamed of their own bodies made her really furious because she herself is at still the same weight.
Though she’s not the skinny girl in the other photo, she is still happy for whoever she is for being full of self-confidence.
She requested the false advertisement be taken down. She felt that this was not fair for the people who would fooled by false images.
The ad was finally taken down and the issue taken up with AIM management.
