A 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit North Cotabato last October 16, 7:30 in the evening. But the earthquake wasn’t the only talk of the town that night.
A video from a netizen named KM Ante went viral. It was taken outside a mall in General Santos after people realized that an earthquake was going on. What made it so special? There were two people that remained unbothered as they continued to eat in Jollibee.
“Sana lahat matapang. Yong feeling na nasa baba na kami lahat tapos sila chill lang na kumakain. OMG. Lind0l na mamsh,” she wrote.

According to KM, they were also eating at Jollibee and when the earthquake started, the crew and other customers of the chain immediately went outside. And because she and her companions got nervous, they followed.
She added that there were so many people going down and they got stuck in the escalator as there were too many individuals going down. Luckily, they were able to exit the establishment.
But not everyone immediately headed out. Two Jollibee customers caught the attention of the people outside as they continued to consume their meals. They were visibly unbothered while people watched them through the glass walls of the branch.
In the video, a person even shouted, “Laban lang. Laban! Hoooh! Basta Jollibee bida ang saya!” as they witnessed the amusing situation.
Another netizen named Jjhan Chad Gray also shared a photo of the two saying “Sana all hindi matakot kahit na malakas ang lindol. Kain pa rin. Ingat ang lahat.”
