- A netizen shared a photo of an old lady making her commute productive.
- This was posted following Presidential Spokesperson Panelo’s suggestion to be creative while commuting.
- Other netizens tweeted about amusing ways to channel their creativity while surviving the inevitable traffic.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo’s suggestion of making the daily commute “creative” has earned negative reactions on social media platforms.
While others were enraged about the seemingly mindless advice of Panelo, one grandma took it seriously and really made the most out of her jeepney ride. A Facebook user has uploaded a photo of her picking out the leaves of malunggay.
According to netizen Timz Burkz, it was taken in the area of Tejero, Cavite—a place where heavy traffic is a normal sight. This made the grandma decide to be productive, instead of just sitting there stuck in traffic.
Other netizens had different—and amusing—ideas of making their commute “creative.”
Like one of the best ways to avoid traffic is to never leave the house.

Why not maximize the usage of the gadgets that you own?
Panelo told us to be creative in traffic jams, so yesterday we created a mini entertainment zone in the back of the bus, it took us two (2) hours to travel to Mendiola from Stop and Shop. pic.twitter.com/HLzy3rCUab
