Netizens have been reacting to the controversial Twitter feud between a die-hard Duterte supporter (DDS) and an activist.
A DDS named Sid caused a stir on December 19 when he told activist Philip Jamilla to look for a job to be productive instead of joining strikes.
In his Twitter account last November 8, Philip posted a video of a protest action with a caption: “Dalawang kilos-protesta ngayong araw, lima kabuuhan ngayon linggo, at dalawa rito halos pausin ko lalamunan ko sa pagpapadaloy.”
He added, “Nakakapagod, oo, pero kung akala ng pasistang estado ay natatakot at titigil kami, diyan sila nagkakamali.”

DDS Sid then commented on his post, “Why not look for a job for you to be productive!?” with the hashtags “#wagkami, #bulok, and #bugok.”

Clearly, Sid’s tweet struck a nerve because it caused Philip and several other netizens to reply. Netizens also sided with Philip.
Philip said, “Aside from having a full-time job, I am also pursuing my Master’s Degree. How about you?”
“Can’t accept the fact that I have a much better job than you, don’t you? Full-time human rights work is work naman,” he added in separate tweets.
