- They aim to gather one million signatures that will be passed to Congress as a request to act on the pending franchise bills.
ABS-CBN only has two months to renew their franchise, failure to do which would mean closing down the network and around ten thousand people losing their jobs.
To help the ABS-CBN network, the National Union of Journalist of the Philippines (NUJP) has launched an online signature campaign through change.org. They aim to gather one million signatures that will be passed to Congress as a request to act on the pending franchise bills.
Kapamilya stars supported the campaign of NUJP by sharing it on their social media accounts and asking their followers to sign the petition as well.
VJ and host Robi Domingo posted on Twitter, urging netizens to show support to the network by signing.
This it! Family is love! Show your support and be a #KapamilyaForever ♥️
