Last year, then couple Nadine Lustre and James Reid, popularly known as JaDine, welcomed a new member to their family. They got a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Cal, whom they adopted from Rockaway Kennel.
From then, Cal has made appearances in the couple’s social media posts and they even brought him along to several projects they had.
But with the recent news of the couple’s breakup, netizens, including influencer Rei Germar, are worried about the said dog.

JaDine was born after Nadine, who was known as a former member of Pop Girls, became James’ leading lady in his music video for the song ‘Alam Niya Ba’. It was released in August 2013.
Within a year, the two starred in two films together – Diary ng Panget and Talk Back You’re Dead. It was only the start of the JaDine fever as their teleserye, On The Wings of Love, became a nationwide success.
They then came out as a real-life couple at their Jadine in Love concert held at Araneta Coliseum on February 20, 2016.
Then after taking a break from the big screen for more than a year, a mature JaDine came back with Never Not Love You, wherein they played as a couple trying to balance their relationship and career.
The two have been absent from each other’s social media for a while but were spotted celebrating the start of 2020 together in Rockwell, Makati.
