Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) deputy administrator Mocha Uson has told ABS-CBN Network to stop playing the victim and answer all the allegations supported by facts in the proper forum.
“Sa madaling salita – relaks lang ABS-CBN ‘wag niyo daanin sa drama, hindi yan teleserye,” tweeted Mocha, who is an ardent supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Doon tayo sa facts. Sagutin niyo ang mga akusasyon sa inyo sa tamang forum, sa korte at tama na victim card. Pls. lang. #YesToABSCBNShutDown,” she added.
It was ironic that Mocha, who has been dubbed as the queen of fake news, asked ABS-CBN for facts.
Mocha also uploaded a photo of House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano who said: “Under the leadership and guidance of President Duterte, many of our nation’s institutions – including Congress – has had to take a long hard look at itself.
“To reflect on what our role is in nation-building and what reforms are needed and how best we can serve God and the Filipino people. Maybe the media, especially ABS-CBN, should also take this critical time (to do the same),” he added.

Cayetano made the remark on Wednesday as he gave some advice to the network to “do some soul-searching.”
At present, there are at least 11 bills filed in the Congress that seek to renew the franchise of ABS-CBN, which will expire on March 30.
But despite the number of bills filed in support of the network’s renewal of franchise, the House committee on legislative franchises has yet to schedule a hearing to tackle the issue.
On the scheduling of hearing for ABS-CBN’s franchise, Cayetano said while “there are certain interests who want to rush this process, we stand by the leadership of the 18th Congress and the Committee in Legislative Franchises on how to prioritize urgent and important legislation.
“We also commit that the 18th Congress shall study this issue from all aspects in order to protect the interest of the public,” he added.
He, however, assured that hearings on the matter will be impartial and those who are for and against the renewal of the media giant’s franchise will be given the opportunity to make their case.
Meanwhile, many netizens have aired their reactions to Mocha’s post.
Here’s what they said:
