In reply, Ethel joked about how people also want an end to the allegedly highly abusive practices of the government.
We want to put an end to what we discovered to be highly abusive practices of this government. Charot! https://t.co/C5j1h9Qhwy

A netizen accused Ethel of being biased against the Duterte administration, saying that she wasn’t like that during the past administrations. The comedian defended herself by saying that she didn’t have Twitter then but she has always voiced out her opinions when it comes to the government.
Wala akong Twitter noong panahon ni GMA and up. Charot! https://t.co/rm68J7rmL4

She added that she was also offered a sum of money to say something nice about some politicians but she declined.
Charot! https://t.co/2FtIOmsBTM

The comedienne also educated a netizen about the premises of Calida’s petition against the Kapamilya network.
Yung filed ni Calida ay regarding KBO and ABS CBN TV Plus na wala daw approval of the National Telecommunications Commission saka yung isa ay violation of the foreign ownership restriction on mass media. Charot! https://t.co/V2rU750z42
