A lot of netizens expressed their delight after seeing the three anchors of GMA News wearing the colors of its rival broadcast network ABS-CBN.
In a photo uploaded on Twitter by a certain Miss Krizzy, which garnered over 4,200 likes and 37,200 shares, GMA News anchors Pia Arcangel, Vicky Morales, and Atom Araullo could be seen wearing the colors of the ABS-CBN logo during the live broadcast of the GMA news program “24 Oras” on Tuesday night.
“24 Oras hosts Pia Arcanghel, Vicky Morales, and Atom Araullo are wearing ABS-CBN colors for tonight’s broadcast,” Miss Krizzy wrote as a caption to the image.

In the photo, Arcangel could be seen wearing a red and blue dress, while Morales donned a green dress. Araullo, on the other hand, wore a blue suit.
The circles of the ABS-CBN logo symbolize the three regions of the Philippines: red for Luzon, green for Visayas, and blue for Mindanao.
Many netizens appreciated the solidarity shown by the Kapuso newscasters for the Kapamilya network.
Here’s what they said:

Several Kapuso celebrities like actor Dingdong Dantes have already expressed their support for the Kapamilya network.
Even GMA News reporter JP Soriano also backed his fellow journalists at ABS-CBN and pushed to defend press freedom.
Bills calling for the ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal have remained pending at Congress.
The network’s franchise will expire on March 30.
On Monday, Solicitor General Jose Calida filed a quo warranto petition before the Supreme Court (SC) to forfeit the legislative franchise of ABS-CBN.
In his petition, Calida argued that the network violated the terms of its franchise.
But ABS-CBN denied this, saying everything they do “is in accordance with the law.”
“We did not violate the law. This case appears to be an attempt to deprive Filipinos of the services of ABS-CBN,” the Lopez-led network said.
Meanwhile, the SC required ABS-CBN to file its comments on the petition 10 days from receipt of notice.
The 10-day period is not extendable.
