With COVID-19 dominating the Philippines, netizens are now giving Feng Shui expert Master Hanz Cua a bad rap for his prediction in 2020.
Everything that Cua said about 2020 is the opposite of what is currently happening today. He said that this year is a good opportunity to start something new, which is nearly impossible due to movement restrictions caused by lockdowns.

One jokingly says that Cua still has a good amount of time for his prediction to be correct.
I find it pretty amusing that on Facebook, thanks to an article I shared, a virtual mob is forming demanding answers from Hanz Cua for predicting a "lucky, prosperous year."
To be fair, he still has 8-10 months, depending which calendar you're keeping track with.

Obviously Cua’s prediction did not age well, and is so inaccurate.

Cua gave his prediction for 2020 late last year, and so far he has been inaccurate.
In an interview, Cua said that 2020 will a lucky year.
“Basically it is going to be a good year for almost all of the animal signs because 2020 will be a strong, prosperous and lucky year,”
The Year of White Metal Rat began on January 25, 2020 and will end on Feb.11, 2021. Cua thinks that 2020 is a good opportunity to start a new business or get a new job.
Those who have been working on projects will have a greater chance of completing them this year.
“Initiatives will only be successful if they are carefully planned.”
Based on Feng Shui, the luckiest direction for 2020 will be the Southeast where there is Heavenly Wealth Star.
“The same direction will attract good fortune, opportunities, helpful friends, windfall luck, influential people and good breaks,”
People born under the signs of Dragon and Snake will benefit most from the direction and “it will also affect the eldest daughter.”
Lucky charms such as Kwan Kong, Arowana fish, Prosperity Rat, and Money Tree should be put up to amplify the said direction.
Other lucky directions for 2020 are: Southwest, West, Northeast, and Northwest. The luckiest color for 2020 is blue.
During New Year’s Eve, Cua said to focus on sweet foods to signify unity among family members. He recommended families to have 12 different kinds of fruits.
“Pineapple is the most important fruit of all. You may include apples, banana, mango, orange, grapes, chico, pears, melon, guyabano, mangosteen, watermelon, and atis.”
He also advised on splashing coins, kiat-kiat and small amount of rice to the living room from the main door.
“Try to open all the windows during New Year revelry. Play some music, repair all leaks before the New Year and de-clutter,”
At the end of the day, Feng Shui is just a practice that people can use to have something guide them through life. Feng Shui can provide optimism in people, and probably motivation also. There’s nothing wrong with following this tradition, but relying on Feng Shui will not guarantee a successful life. Success still depends on the hard work that you put in to achieve it.
Hanz Cua claims to have been a psychic ever since he was a little boy. He is a bonafide Feng Shui Master, specializing in Feng Shui, Bazi or Chinese Astrology and Zi Wei Dou Shu (Emperor Purple Star Astrology) which uses a person’s birth date and birth time to determine their life path and destiny.
Cua has the ability to read people through their faces, and see through his third eye.
He has learned from Feng Shui grandmasters in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Burma (Myanmar), and Thailand. The level of knowledge he has on Feng Shui has made him a Sage. His clients, based on testimonies, have already achieved prosperous and happy lives.
He is also known as “the youngest Feng Shui Master in the Philippines and Asia”, and can cure any problems you have, whether it be on a mental or on a spiritual regard. Paranormal experts also have high respect for Cua.
Cua has made a fortune on being a Feng Shui expert, and has appeared on GMA and ABS-CBN numerous times. He has been featured in newspapers, and magazines. Radio programs are also happy to have him on regularly.
