Annabelle Rama, through her Twitter account, expressed her annoyance with Cavite 7th District Representative Jesus Crispin Remulla and SAGIP Partylist Representative Rodante D. Marcoleta for the congressmen’s discourteousness during ABS-CBN franchise hearing.
“I’m watching now ABS Franchise Hearing sa congress . Ang comment ko kay Cong. Remulla bakit ka laging sumisigaw at galit na galit habang tinatanong mo ang pinaka cool na si Carlo Katigbak? Ang sakit sa ulo at sa tainga ko yung Boses mo magkalapit lang kayo di ba?” she tweeted.

The outrage of the actress stems from the unbecoming behavior exhibited by the two congressmen during interpellation.
“Ang comment ko kay Cong. Remulla bakit ka laging sumisigaw at galit na galit habang tinatanong mo ang pinaka cool na si Carlo Katigbak? Ang sakit sa ulo at sa tainga ko yung Boses mo magkalapit lang kayo di ba?” Rama said.
[My comment for Cong. Remulla, why are you always shouting and very angry while asking Carlo Katigbak who is very cool? Your voice hurts my head and ears. You are just near to each other, right?]
“Pareho lang kayo ni Cong. Marcoleta, lagi nalang galit . Pag sumasagot ang mga taga Abs-cbn sa tanong mo lagi mong kina-cut hindi mo pinapatapos ang sagot.” she added.
[You are always angry like Cong. Marcoleta. When ABS-CBN representatives answer your questions, you always cut them off, you are not allowing them to finish their answer.]
During the recent hearing, Remulla had heated arguments with ABS-CBN representatives as he raised several questions about the network.
In the early part of interpellation, Remulla chided Ging Reyes, ABS-CBN News chief.
Remulla claimed that the network blackmails the congress as ABS-CBN believes that somehow, press freedom is suppressed once their franchise will not be renewed.
“Kaya ang sinasabi niyo, kapag nabigyan kayo ng prangkisa, walang issue ng press freedom. ‘Pag hindi kayo nabigyan ng prangkisa, masama kami kasi nagviolate kame ng press freedom” Remulla said.
[You are saying that if you were given a franchise, there is no issue of press freedom. If you were not given a franchise, we are bad because we violated the press freedom]
Thereupon, Remulla had more disputes against ABS-CBN representatives regarding how the network shaped the image of politicians and their block time on Channel 43.

Rama’s frank comments are valid as her claims are considered to be on point.
Annabelle Rama is an actress and talent manager who is well-known for her outspokenness and for being vocal with her opinions.
