Renowned actress Angel Locsin has undoubtedly been the most vocal Kapamilya star on ABS-CBN’s unfortunate shutdown.
She even aired her frustration at fellow Kapamilya talents for being silent on the issue.
“Sa lahat ng artistang hindi nagsasalita, ano? May career pa ba kayo? Wala na, wala na kayong network,” Locsin said in front of demonstrators during the July 18 rally.
Other vocal artists praised Angel for being a real ‘Darna’.
Ethel Booba, however, seems to have taken shots at Angel Locsin on Twitter.

The comedian is a huge supporter of the current administration and even campaigned for Rodrigo Duterte in the 2016 presidential elections.
She said that the people who advocated for mass testing and junking the terror bill are the same people who attended the ABS-CBN rally when social distancing rules are required to be observed.
Happy?😊— Ethel Booba (@EthelBooba6) July 21, 2020
Ethel also pointed out how people would constantly blame the government for the rise in COVID-19 cases but were fine with going to the protest.
Laban natin to. #ganun #Happy?

Although most see her as funny, Ethel was never considered a great actress. She was a contestant on ABS-CBN’s singing contest but lost after four weeks and subsequently signed with GMA Network.
She hasn’t been active in recent years until a parody Twitter account made her popular with its witty takedowns of erring government officials.
Her career got a boost when she was named the first celebrity champion on It’s Showtime’s Tawag ng Tanghalan.
However, her career suffered a setback when she disowned that the parody account that many thought was hers since she got a book deal out of it. She is attempting to rebuild a following on Twitter but without much success.
