- A netizen uploaded a letter to her boyfriend and thanked him for making her happy.
- She just came from a long-term relationship but called it quits because it was getting toxic.
A young lady named Trixie called it quits with her boyfriend of five years. She was 13 when she started dating her now ex. Everything was smooth and fine at first but after three years, he started cheating on her.
“He always cheated on me po. Nagsimula na syang parang mawalan ng pakialam sakin,” Trixie told DailyPedia.
And finally, in January 2020, she finally had the courage to break up with him.
“Then last January dun po napagod na talaga ako. nag cheat na naman siya. Marami po akong tiniis bago kami maghiwalay. Sobrang toxic po ng relationship namin. and then yun po, nag-decide na ako na makipagbreak kasi pagod na pagod na po ako sa lahat ng ginagawa nya sa akin.”
But little did she know that she was destined to meet Kenneth. A common friend introduced the two and he added her on Facebook first. Though their conversations were regular, Trixie admitted to not having any romantic feelings towards him. Even when they saw each other for the first time, she was still not convinced.
“Sabi ko sa sarili ko ayoko na makipag usap sa kanya after ng first meet namin kasi di ko nga po sya gusto non, tingin ko lang sa kanya is just a friend.”
Trixie then said that after her previous relationship, she really got scared to enter another one as the trauma of the past kept on haunting her.
“Takot po ako noon eh. Takot na takot po akong magmahal ulit kasi baka maulit lahat ng nangyare sakin before, sa past relationship ko.”
But it turns out that Kenneth doesn’t give up so easily. He courted her and showed his sincerity and confidence. The man even braved her parents (and her strict father) and struck a conversation with them.
“Sobrang effort niya. Halos araw-araw nandito sya sa bahay namin nanliligaw hindi lang sa akin kundi pati sa family ko. And then one night, pumunta siya dito sa bahay kinausap niya father ko. Sinabi nya lahat ng intentions niya sa akin. Sobrang strict po ng father ko, hindi siya natanggap ng manliligaw. But nung si Kenneth na, sobrang gaan na ng loob niya.”

Even though they’re still new and the relationship is still delicate, Trixie is honest about the difference in maturity when it comes to her and Kenneth. As she’s only 18 and he’s 23, there are times that she acts childish.
“May mga bagay po na di pa ako matured mag isip & gumalaw. Very childish. Tapos siya po sobrang matured na.”
When asked for a message to Kenneth, here’s what Trixie answered: “Kenneth, my love, thank you for the happiness that you bring into my life. Thank you for making me feel alive again, thank you for all the love that you are giving to me every day, thank you for letting me know how precious I am & for making me feel I am worth it. Thank you for loving me. I will do my best for this relationship to last. I love you so much baby!”
