- He admitted that he was stressed because of the pandemic and got really affected by the happening.
- The young star then made it a mission to spread positivity around and help motivate people.
Things seem to be going well for young actor Daniel Padilla with his online concert, Apollo: A Daniel Padilla Digital Experience, becoming a huge success. He also spent his time promoting his new series The House Arrest of Us.
Though good things kept on happening in his career, he admitted that the process was not only glitz and glamor. In a recent interview, he said that there was a time that he felt pressured and mentally stressed while going through the strict restrictions of the Enhanced Community Quarantine. Adding to the challenge that he faced during that time was ABS-CBN’s franchise being denied its renewal last July.
Parang oh my God what’s happening? Ano na nangyayari sa mundo? Parang nanalo ang kasamaan. Bakit ganito di ba?” he said.
But he didn’t let that stop him from moving forward and spreading positivity to everyone else around him.
Maraming bagay eh. Pero ang pinaka-importante, dapat may impact ito sa kapwa ko in a positive way.”
With the help of his on-screen and off-screen partner, Kathryn Bernardo, and their families, Padilla has gained moral support and strength to face the challenges he encountered.
Pamilya mo at saka yung pinakamalalapit sayo. Kilalanin mo. That’s for me.
And though his schedule is jam-packed, he doesn’t fail to keep himself updated with the latest events in and out of the Philippines.
Masyado na magulo ang mundo and the problem is tayo, ang tao. Masyado na tayong makukulit with nature.”
He then mentioned his inspiration, Bono of U2, for being proactive when it comes to his advocacies.
I look up to him. Ganun dapat eh. Gamitin natin kung anong meron tayo ngayon to inspire people. Hindi yung kung anu-ano lang for the sake of money, for the sake of fame. We have to use this sa tamang bagay. So tinatrabaho natin yun ngayon. I’m not perfect pero I’m trying very hard para mailabas sa mga tao yun.”
The House Arrest of Us will start airing on October 24 via KTX.ph and iWantTFC.
