Food delivery driving has become one of the most common jobs amid the pandemic due to the increase in the public’s wants and needs.
However, these delivery drivers have been subjected to pranks and order cancellations which really affects how they do their job.
A Twitter user detailed how her cousin Aaron, who is a Food Panda delivery driver, is always getting duped by customers and would usually come home with food that he is forced to eat due to cancellation of orders.
She feels bad for her cousin who works hard every day to make a living. He came home recently with food from McDonalds and Chowking that amounted to almost three thousand pesos.

Customers pay upon delivery, which means the driver buys the order first with their own money.
The photo is truly a sad sight, and she hopes Food Panda compensates for her cousin’s losses.

Fake bookings are really costly to the drivers, who don’t really make a lot unless luck is on their side.

According to some netizens, Food Panda will take care of Aaron’s losses so he has nothing to worry about.

However, Aaron told his cousin in a message that Food Panda will not shoulder his losses for that day since there were more than two canceled orders.
Another netizen said that Aaron will not be compensated for since the order was a “cash on delivery.”
