- The act is similar to the #NasaanAngPangulo hashtag during the onslaught of Typhoon Rolly and Ulysses.
- Robredo then responded by saying that she’s not missing in action during the calamity.
After #NasaanAngPresidente trended during the wrath of Typhoon Ulysses, #NasaanAngBisePresidente was tweeted by netizens, mostly by alleged supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte, as Tropical Depression Vicky ravaged some areas in Mindanao.
This was after President Rodrigo Duterte was criticized for being allegedly missing in action during the typhoon a month ago while Vice President Leni Robredo was actively updating all her followers about the situation and responding to those asking for help.

@EatsmeArtJun stated that they’re not really looking for Robredo as she is not welcome in Mindanao anyway.
As if hinanahap namin si Madumb Leni, di naman sya welcome dito sa Mindanao. Hahahhah #NasaanAngBisePresidente

Others even laughed at the anger of Robredo’s supporters.
Galit na galit ang nga kapanalig ni vp ah.. Bakit daw nagttrend itong #NasaanAngBisePresidente?
E kasi ginagamit din nila ang #. Ahahah. Patawa Lang talaga ang vp kasi wala ng ginawa kundi pumuna Maaga pang nangangampanya. Kahit hindi nya aminin. Halata naman. OA na sa puna.😆

“Wag nyu hanapin, nag seset pa ng meeting para sa cameraman Para may ma post sa vlog“ a netizen said.

But not everyone who used the hashtag was really asking about the VP’s whereabouts. Some are firing back against those who are attacking Robredo.
Harvey Keh said that the fact that people are looking for the vice president during a crisis instead of the President shows that the country is indeed in big trouble.
When the first person that you look for during a crisis is the Vice President and not the President then malaki na talaga ang problema ng bansa. Diba mga DDS trolls? #NasaanAngBisePresidente

Another even thanked the DDS for trending the hashtag as it’s a “sign” that people acknowledge Robredo’s responsibility.
Thank you DDS for this #NasaanAngBisePresidente
We will take this as a sign that you admit that Leni Robredo is the true VP.

VP Responds
In a Facebook post, Robredo stated that she’s present and that her office has been coordinating with the local government units of areas that have been affected by Vicky.
“Andito po ako. Kanina pa kami nag cocoordinate sa areas na apektado,” she wrote.
Andito po ako. Kanina pa kami nag cocoordinate sa areas na apektado.
Pagdasal po natin mga kababayan natin sa Agusan del Sur at Surigao del Sur na binabaha ngayon.

Netizens then laughed at those who started the hashtag as Robredo immediately posted as soon as people started looking for her.
#NasaanAngBisePresidente has got to be the funniest reversal ever.
Trying to reverse a legitimate trend to serve your master only to watch it blow up in your face when she actually does her job.
You stanned the wrong man

Some even posted memes about those looking for her a while ago.

After Typhoon Ulysses hit the Philippines in November, President Duterte criticized Robredo’s calamity response and falsely accused her and her team of starting the #NasaanAngPangulo trend.
